Matt serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Wasion Americas, where he leads the organization’s strategic growth, operational excellence, and performance initiatives. He is committed to empowering a dynamic team of industry experts and ensuring they have the support, vision, and resources needed to deliver high-quality distribution products to utilities across North America. A tenacious and creative leader, Matt is passionate about building exceptional teams and driving sustainable business expansion while focusing on customer success, innovation, and quality.

With a career spanning more than 30 years serving utility customers, Matt brings deep expertise in market development, business operations, and product fulfillment. He spent more than 13 years at Itron, where he led global AMI product lines across fulfillment and operations. Prior to that, he served as a CFO at both Siemens and Landis+Gyr, gaining broad experience in financial leadership and international business management. He began his career with a Westinghouse distributor specializing in medium-voltage switchgear, motor control centers, and panelboards, experience that grounds his leadership in a strong understanding of utility infrastructure and operational realities.

Matt holds a B.A. from North Carolina State University—Go Pack!

Outside of work, Matt is dedicated to his family and enjoys a wide range of music. A lifelong soccer (Fußball) enthusiast, he follows Bayern Munich and the NC Courage. He also cheers on the Carolina Hurricanes during hockey season.
