VP of Channel Sales| Wasion Americas
Lou Santilli serves as Vice President of Channel Sales at Wasion Americas, bringing more than 40 years of professional experience across the electric, water, gas, smart city, and smart grid sectors. In this role, he leads partner engagement strategy and supports the expansion of Wasion Americas’ channel ecosystem across North America, ensuring customers benefit from innovative, reliable, and scalable utility technology solutions.
Lou’s expertise spans the full lifecycle of utility operations, from power generation and transmission to distribution systems, metering, and advanced grid modernization. His career includes over 24 years in operations, engineering, and management roles within investor-owned utilities, including nuclear and fossil generation, T&D, and electric metering. He later spent 16 years with global system integrators and manufacturers in roles such as Area Vice President of Enterprise Projects, Senior Director of Marketing and Product Management, and Director of Global Manufacturing Quality for electricity products. Lou has led and delivered major electric, water, and gas AMI projects across municipalities, cooperatives, and IOUs throughout North America.
A specialist in AMI deployments, smart city and smart grid solutions, and program management, Lou’s experience also extends into renewables, including fuel cells, energy storage, electric vehicles, solar, and wind. He has been recognized as a Trained Senior Reactor Operator and previously held certifications as a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Certified Power Quality Professional (CPO).
Lou holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Florida, where he graduated with Cum Laude distinction.
Outside of work, Lou enjoys traveling with his wife, Kathleen, his partner for 41 years. He is a proud father of two daughters and a grandfather to one granddaughter. Lou is actively involved in his community, often lending his skills to local projects and helping neighbors with repairs. Known as the neighborhood “fix-it” guy, if it has wires or gears, he’ll either fix it or make it more interesting.
